Nice vid, but there are quite a lot of misconceptions about this era (mostly thanks to Tom Cruise's Last Samurai and the romanticisation of Samurai in general). Samurais had guns, a lot of them. There wasnt one big rebellion, but several local and several bigger, province wide ones - the end battle of the biggest (not the last) of these was Shiroyama Samurai's bushido codex was pretty shitty, especially against the common folk A trained infantryman is more than a match for a samurai, especially in formation (Hollywood likes to think all battles somehow devole into a one on one battle between soldiers) - linking to this, I dont know specifically about a katana, but a spear (your musket with a bayonet is esentially both a spear and a club) is a far easier to use and more convenient, also subjectively better weapon than a sword. Muskets (or rifles) of this period has way better aim and range than bows, the only things bows were bettee still is reloading speed (which does not amount to much when you are shot dead from 500 meters).

It's kind of a bummer the game can actually truly only support... 1-2 legions vs 1-2 legions. 5-10k men vs 5-10k. It'd be AMAZING if CA actually revolutionized the engine and made it so you can truly control the real size of the forces of the ancient era. That and end the freaking no units can move outside of an army. I hateeee having to send my entire army back instead of feeding in reinforcements like the older TW games. Just terrible. And it's only done because they haven't done anything to the AI code in 15 years.

5:00 - Also, I like your videos better with no commentary/documentary narration voiceover. Text or cutscenes informing viewers of different stages of the battle was better Just a personal preference
